Wide
Color Reproduction Area
Wide Color Reproduction Area Our LCD projectors use a newly developed
optical system intended specifically for cinema viewing, along with
a 120W UHM lamp. This enables reproduction of an extremely wide range
of colors, helping to enhance subtlety and detail in projected images.
Digital
Keystone Correction
A projector that
isn't level produces a trapezoidal-shaped image, referred to as "keystoning."
Digital keystone correction corrects this image distortion to provide
the proper aspect ratio.
16:9
Aspect Ratio LCD Panel
The LCD panel features
a width-to-height ratio similar to movie theater screens, providing
cinema-style entertainment in your living room. HDTV broadcasts and
DVD videos produced in 16:9 format will use the full panel resolution,
unlike 4:3 projectors where a large portion of the panel is wasted on
"black bars" projected above and below the movie image.
Video
and PC Input Terminals
A large selection of input options allows you to connect all kinds of
video sources, such as a DVD player or VCR. There's also a PC input
terminal that lets you use the projector as a large monitor.

500:1
Contrast Ratio
A high contrast ratio provides deep blacks and bright whites.
Short-Throw
Lens
Lets the projector produce a large display even in small rooms where
the projector is close to the screen. The PT-AE100 can produce a 50"
diagonal 16:9 image at just 5 feet away from the screen.
Low-Noise
Cooling Fan
The quiet fan won't disturb you while you watch your favorite movies.
Long-Life
Lamp
Replacement lamp
costs are kept to a minimum thanks to the long life provided by our
120W UHM lamp. In high mode, lamp life is approximately 2000 hours,
while in economy mode lamp life is extended to approximately 5000 hours.
700
ANSI Lumens Brightness
Ambient light in
the viewing room, such as light sneaking through window blinds, can
cause the projected image to become washed out. High brightness lets
you view a high-quality image under less-than-ideal lighting conditions.
