PLV-HD100 Features:

24P TRUE HD RESOLUTION PROJECTOR
The PLV-HD100 utilizes three true High Definition resolution (1920x1080) LCD panels to reproduce high definition sources as they were meant to be seen. The PLV-HD100 provides 24P capability for film playback situations.

OUTSTANDING CONTRAST RATIO - 1000:1
Through its new high-contrast optical system, utilizing micro lens technology, the PLV-HD100 is able to achieve an outstanding contrast ratio of 1000:1. A micro lens is integrated into each individual pixel on the three LCD panels increasing light efficiency, resulting in significantly brighter images.

5500 ANSI LUMENS
Utilizing four high-output 250 watt UHP lamps as its light source, the PLV-HD100 delivers an incredible 5500 ANSI lumens of brightness.

 

SUPERIOR COLOR REPRODUCTION
The PLV-HD100 provides superior color purity with SANYO's 6500 deg. K color temperature optical system and superb HDTV image performance through a newly developed 12-bit Progressive Scan integrated circuit. As a result of 30-bit color processing (10 bit each for R/G/B), 2-3 pulldown and 1080i to progressive conversion, the reproduction of moving images is highly improved.

CUSTOMIZABLE START-UP LOGO
The PLV-HD100 can capture logo files to display during the projector's countdown sequence at startup.

EFFICIENT LAMP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Monitors the status of each lamp and can display status and cumulative hours of use on-screen. When full brightness is not required, two of the lamps may be switched off. Also, if a lamp expires while either four or two lamps are in use, the fail-safe operation feature switches to the matched pair of good lamps.
