projector Community Service Project:
Kitten Rescue

When five 10-day old kittens were found abandoned, Jolene and Vickie took personal responsibiity for them. Then a couple days later, another pair of kittens were found in a bush. These were a about a week older than the first 5, but all were in need of hand-feeding and some extra TLC.

Our office became a mini zoo, with little kitties sleeping and mewing in the large cat show carrier Jolene brought. The tiny felines were fed every few hours, 'round the clock.   home projection system install

Chloe and Patches were adopted by Vickie's sister.

Two others, named "Buttercup" and "Ruby", were adopted by Vickie's daughter and family.

Meanwhile, back at the office...............we're down to three!
Vickie adopted the black one, naming her "Monique". Jolene adopted the other two: "Bootsie" (with her head hanging off the chair, snoozing, below) and "Pixie" (all stretched out, next to Bootsie, below). They were our part-time office kitties, as Vickie and Jolene toted them in each day. (Until they were bigger.)

Then came Harley --
the latest bundle of fur!
Harley was found in a field
the day before Halloween.

Jolene (in pink) took
Harley to the vet,
where they bandaged his
broken leg and gave him
some much-needed TLC
.
