Projection System Installation
at Murray Hills Christian Church -- Beaverton, OR

Murray Hills Christian Church is located in Beaverton, Oregon, in the quiet Murray Hills community. National Projector worked with church member Dal Norris to facilitate the complete install of an asending electric screen, a wall mounted projector with long throw lens, scaler switcher, as well as EasyWorship software.

Before arriving on-site, details about the church floor plan as well as the desired image size were implemented in order to develop an AV design which would have excellent video quality but also be non-intrusive to the beautiful architecture of the church.

		The professional AV system included a 3000 lumen projector with a long-throw lens. The projector was mounted discreetly on the back side of the beam using a custom-fabricated mount.

		The screen is mounted so that it ascends from behind a short wall just above the pulpit area. This makes it easy for the whole congregation to see the song lyrics, sermon outlines and more, from nearly any portion of the pews.
		As you can see in the side-by-side pictures below, the screen lowers out of sight when not in use, preserving the integrity of the sanctuary when visual aids are not needed. This is especially valuable when weddings and other special events are held at the church.

The projector took its cues from the church's existing desktop PC to project EasyWorship software onto the screen.
